Have
you got propositions from the USA (about cinema) ?
Frankly, nothing. I am not an actress. This isn't my job and
if I never become a film actor, I won't die. I have nothing to
prove. I like when things come naturally to me. It was what
happened for "Asterix" (TN : title of the movie where
she is playing in ). I didn't need to call them because they
came to me.
What will be your projects when you are older ?
I want to be happy and free, to do things I love to do, to
meet a lot of people. Overall to be free, this is the most
important for me.
Now, all is fine for you, but have you anguishes ?
I am sorry, but I haven't. I am really fine as I am. No,
none, I am healthy. I haven't problems, all is fine. I haven't
anguishes, but should do I ?
No, not at all...
But I think I am a bit boring in fact.
What do you think about the hysteria around the top
models ?
Why not ? In my own point of view, it makes me work. I think
people need to dream. They need beauty, magi.
What means for you the L'Oréal slogan "Because I
really worth it" ( French is "Parce que je le vaux
bien") ?
This is only a marketing stuff.
And you, what do you worth ?
Me? Zero !! I know that if all stops tomorrow, I will be
nothing.
Do you often think about it ?
Yes, everyday, you have always to remember where you come
from.
So, where do you come from ?
From a very simple family in Corsica, Calvi to be precise.
All my souvenirs are there, and when I come back home, I can't
hide my feelings. To be happy is very important for me. [....].
I have understood that I was free to be free. Simply.
Does your advertising contracts help you to be free ?
Of course, this is a great freedom. This is a wonderful
luck, overall at my age. It permits me to have a lot of
projects, to save money for my family and the one I will have
later. I think I have nothing to complain about.
What makes you dream?
Greediness !! Life, to be a little silly, to accept things
like they come, to leave impulsively. This is what I call
liberty.
What do you like the most, to seduce or to be loved ?
Both. In me, there is a side terribly shy and reticent. When
I don't work, I can't stand to be shot.
Who are your favourite actors?
I like Simone Signoret. I also like the old songs:
Gainsbourg, Brassens, Brel. When I travel abroad, it helps me,
this is almost like an identity. Just like poetry, it helps me to
speak well French.
When you speak about yourself, how do you define
yourself ?
Stupid, sometimes dumb, young, happy...

No, I don't like TV.

I don't matter to be on all covers. People often try to
destroy you by treachery, so it is important to me to take care.
[...] I like simple, frank men, people who say that they
have in mind, who struggle for their ideas.
When I begun as a model, everybody tried to remould me : I
was too fat, too little, they tried to remould my teeth.... I am
very proud to stay as I was. And there is a thing which is
wonderful, it's to look like a woman, not a green bean. I love
to walk in the streets and to notice that people do not care of
me. Sometimes, women come to me and say : " Oh thanks you
for you to have such a gorgeous body". I enjoy it a lot.
More, I eat, a lot!! Even if I lost weight, I will recover . |
