Next part is called "Little
Laetitia" There Laetitia tell us about how it was to be young in
the French Country side with a Corsican father and a mother from Normandy.
That she was told that her brother Jean Baptiste was more clever at school
and how it was to get a little sister in Marie-Ange. (At
right it's few samples of the pictures on this part. )

section you know why, and why Corsica means so much for her. (a

Next part is called "Working
girl". Here Laetitia tells us about how it was to be a young and till
now unknown girl, with one leg in the model branch and one at school. From
the book: Laetitia tells what her father Dominique told her
before the first day at Madison: "He said to me, 'You're my
daughter, and for me you are the best and most beautiful, but other people
may not think so.' He didn't want me to get hurt, he didn't want me to
dream to much." In this part of the book you can read about how
she meet Yves Saint Lauren a meeting that has resulted in a friendship
between them. There is a part for Guess?, for Victoria's Secret,
Sport Illustrated, Rolling Stone, Pirelli Calendar and Loreal. In the row
under this there are some samples of the pictures on this pages. |

There is a section from Laetitia's movie
Asterix & Obelix. Laetitia tells us how it was. And there are comments
by the other actors like Gerard Depardieu who says: "It was great
to shoot this film with Laetitia-my head is still spinning! She radiates
an incredible freshness, and is talented to boot." |

Then there is a big section with big and wonderful
pictures. Poesy by I Muvrini for Laetitia. Words by Dominique Issermann,
Paul Marciano, Brigitte Bardot and Laetitia. Like this from Laetitia: "We
are all like the Russian doll called the martryoshka- made with many
layers. On the outside, my skin is as tough as a crocodile's. But in the
smallest doll, in my most intimate sphere, I am tender, fragile, and
sensitive." (some samples at left) |

The section above with big and wonderful pictures
continues, it's over a 100 pages long. There are different theme's like
Love, Books, Men, Beauty and many more. About men Laetitia tells us this: "When
I see a man I look into his eyes to find his true self. I don't look at
his body. It's his heart and his passion that will give me what I want.
What interests me is a man's soft spot, his vulnerability. It's when a man
is vulnerable that he is beautiful. When he is unguarded and honest, then
a man is like a child." Some samples of the pictures below. |

My opinion:
The pictures and text in this page
is just a few samples of what's in the book Laetitia Casta. There
are several more pictures, mostly in big format and
outstanding quality. Between the sections there are nice sketches
done by Laetitia. And the best through the text you someway
learn to know her better.
I would have big
trouble doing this site without the book. |
|
|
|
The last section
is about Family & My Island Home. "My family is the most
important thing in my life. I would love passionately to have my own
children. To have a baby inside of me-it's one of my dreams in life. I
would love to hold my children, to run to them, to give them the same
happiness my family gives me." |
