The Tractor: A standard MF8280Xtra except adjustment of the turbo and injection system. The power increased from  standard 288hp to 387hp. (so now you know what to do with your standard MF8280Xtra) Other improvements was a new air-filter on the roof of the tractor to avoid dust and extra light equipment for night driving.

The plough was a standard 4 furrow plough in front and a 13 furrow plough rear. The depth was set to 27cm.

 
 
 
After the record.            
  The place was a big farm near Sanguinet in Bordeaux France. The 800 hectare farm was divided in 18 circular areas with the biggest at 685 metre diameter. The only spell of time was when moving from one area to another.

The Record was set by a team holding 20 people including the driver Gerard Briez. And the record, ploughing 2513,76 hectare in 24 hours. a 400 hectare more then the old record from 2000. The old record was set by a tractor producing 425hp.
